Dripping rocks!

Shoulder from the Cretacious Tertiary Boundary, when dinosaur-killing cloud of asteroid dust settles around the globe. It's this iridium that helps validate theories that Earth was covered with ice 600 million years ago. The Namibian rock from that era is slurry applied to the body of the pot here, named "Snowball Earth". Interior and exterior matte white (near base) are glazes assembled from refined materials. The rock slurry that rolled and beaded up during firing fascinates me and evokes curiosity about the sounds of whatever it was back then that lapped against shores (wherever THEY were back then).
