Stripes on the side from Reid, McBride, John Hopkins, and Muir inlets mixed together from Alaskan inlets of Glacier Bay. This mud is gritty unfired -- I never thought it would smooth out but the fire made all of it flow smoothly. Thumbwell of seaglass.
Interior brown shiny and exterior lavender matte are assembled from refined materials.

In the unglazed form I thought this sediment would be stony after firing but, rough as the glacial silt is, it fires smoothly into this lustrous brown on the interior of the bowl.
Names of inlets are written around the area where NOAA's bird symbol is filled with sea glass.
Whitish rim and exterior matte green glazes assembled from refined materials.
