Brown exterior glaze from 74°11.14' south 113°15.06' west. This Antarctica site offers more information about the sediment glaze source. Changes in color of the sediment glaze, from cool dark to rusty iron brown, are signs of oxygen flow around the pot during firing--common in some kilns but a rare example in my kiln.
Interior shiny brown top third matte are glazes assembled from refined materials. Thumb-well of sea-glass is blue.
