Bering Sea sediment has opals in it. Antarctica sediment has fine clay particles that fell to the seafloor as they were released from the melting ice. Two lines of writing name coordinates for sediment from the Bering Sea (on the shoulder) and the Amundsen Sea polynya is lustrous brown. Other glaze is copper green and sea glass was used in the lid.
