5.25" x 2.75"

Lower exterior is slurry from rocks cut from the mid-Atlantic Ridge at the Kane Fracture Zone. The band above it has some iridium from the Cretacious Tertiary boundary.

Interior is a celadon glaze assembled from refined materials that was in a reducing atmosphere in the kiln; unburned fuel created smoke that made the glaze bluish green, a result of trapped carbon in the glaze. The thumbwell is filled with blue sea-glass.
