On translucent porcelain, the brown is the marine sediment glaze. Words in rim say, "Costa Rican Accretionary Prism, where Earth's plates collide, scrape and yield." The sediment was applied thinky on the exterior. Glazes assembled from refined materials are celadon and copper green. |
