Top third exterior is sediment from were the Gulf Stream's been turning around Norfolk Slope, east of Virginia Capes. The sediment curled when dry and relaxed down during firing, leaving the orange blushes of salt vapors on the clay. Foram shells appear to be suspended in the area where sediment merged with lavender glaze -- also an area of brightest colors that had been assembled from refined materials. Shiny white interior. Blue sea-glass thumb-well.
