Click to enlargeSubduction Mud on Porcelain

5.25" x 3.25"

Interior shiny white with a brush of copper green under--making a greenish tinge. Seaglass thumbwell.

Sediment is super-fine and after application it shrinks and curls and then in the kiln, it relaxes and fuses to the clay underneath -- making exposed porcelain which won't absorb water (it's vitrified).
