8" x 3.75"

Partially translucent porcelain clay (white #1) glazed with Namibian Rock slurry (white #2) with rim and foot of matte white (white #3) and shiny (white #4) glazes assembled from refined materials. The interior branching pattern was made during firing by the flowing molten rock. The scientist, Bernhard Peucker-Ehrenbrink, who gave me this material marked this sample as "Uber Fabulous", possibly because it had the least dark powder in it (past tense because it's all used up) of the three samples he so generously donated to my collection.
